Carrying hand luggage, the Dresdeners arrive at the 'Hellerberg camp for Jews' in small groups. The camp was located just beyond the Dresden city limits on Dr.-Todt-Strasse, now Radeburger Strasse. Dresden was thus largely 'Jew-free'. The new arrivals were received by Jewish orderlies; the camp was under Jewish 'self-administration'. Apparently on command, this group has stopped briefly to pose for the camera. The people are carrying umbrellas and wearing rain capes. The villa visible in the background is the house at Weinbergstrasse 1.
